  i just unsubscribed from a crafting newsletter that i have been receiving for a couple of years.

  all along, i have been willing to overlook the "uber-christian" leanings because they offered some neat things like free fonts and cute scrapbooking ideas.

  but today they had a feature called "customer spotlight" that just irked the heck out of me:.

  lol LMAO...your all funny people. I will side with one comment. "common sense"!!!!!!Look at what actualy happens around the world. Series of random events. Why is a natural disater gods doing.? Why can't it just happen due to warm waters and Coriolis effect? A few of you mentioned luck, i bet a hurricane formation has more to do with luck than gods hand. Ask the people in Sir Lanka if their natrual distaster was god sent.

  Elder arrested for beating daughter

  elder david nesler was arrested in jackson california for striking his teen-age daughter (also a jw) in front of a high school.

  he is currently released and an active jw member who is allowed to participate in meetings, although his status as an elder is unknown.. this was not alleged to be sexual abuse, but it does certainly call into question the discretion of this elder.

  if this is what he does in public...?.

  You are all amazing. Your like a bunch of 8th graders siting at your lunch table gossiping about news you have heard. I will say that no person should touch their child under any circumstance but not everyone thinks or acts the same...Even you JW's! You don't know what the situation was or anything about their family. You shouldn't worry about how this will reflect on you "oragnization", as a couple of you put it, cause this happens everywhere. Your not some perfect "organization", everyone screws up. If that's not how you people see it then your still living with your eyes closed. Get a life and worry about what you can control. Go knock on some doors or something that you do best. I know that man personaly and or childish discussions make me sick. DON"T DELETE, not inciting hatred!!!!just free speech
